Emily joined our rugby team with little to no experience, but put in her all and quickly became a starting forward. She's always got a smile on her face and a hug to dole out, but that doesn't stop her from being a beast on the field. Most recently, Emily has been elected Vice President of the Administration Board and we are really excited to see all the amazing thing she is going to do on and off the field in the upcoming seasons! Congrats Emily !!

I picked rugby because I've always been super aggressive in all my other sports (they called me wrecking ball in high school because I fouled out of every single basketball game of my senior year). Also, I come from a family of wrestlers, so I'm no stranger to roughhousing. I overall just thought it would be a good fit because I'm not afraid to put myself out there and get a little dirty.
in 5 years what do you see yourself doing?
I'm not really sure what I'll be doing in 5 years, but I hope that I'll be traveling and getting to see the world.
favorite place in Ann Arbor?
My favorite place in Ann Arbor is the State Theater. It's such a quaint, old-timey place. They show some new movies that come out, but they also have showings of throwbacks, which I love.
who is your biggest inspiration and why?
My biggest inspiration is my mom. She does so much for my dad and me, and is constantly keeping track of all three of our schedules and making sure we're okay first. Not only does she take care of us, though, but she is so kind to everyone that she meets and will always go out of her way to help someone who needs it. I try to be more like her every day.
how long have you been playing rugby?
I started last winter, January 18th is actually my one year anniversary of my first practice!

what continent do you most want to visit?
If you were an ice-cream flavor, which would you be?
